INVASIVE PLANTS & CONSERVATION

WEEDS AND WETLANDS

Introduced and invasive plant species disrupt and degrade out New England environmental heritage. They vine up on mature trees and smother them like a cancer, they displace native and ornamental plants and the vital habitats those natives provide. Knotweed forms sprawling, monoculture thickets. We know how to best manage these unwanted plant bullies and restore balance. We can work with your local Conservation Commission Agent when wetland planning and reporting are required.

We love rescuing landscapes, forests, and fields from weed domination. It is deeply gratifying work to preserve and restore indigenous plant communities for the benefit of wildlife and the preservation of extant genetic diversity. We also love deploying our awesome machines for the rapid erasure of large stands of the worst woody weeds—chewing up weeds is fun.
